Internship and graduation

An internship gives you the opportunity to get to know TenCate as a company. You work on a project that you are personally responsible for — that requires perseverance, a proactive attitude and independence. Of course, we are there to help you if you need it.

TenCate always has internship and/or graduation projects available in a wide range of disciplines within the organisation. If you're interested, click here to view our vacancies for interns.

Application procedure for internships or graduation

Are you interested in one of our internships or graduation internships? The application procedure comprises the following steps:

  1. Applying by email

Please send us your CV and cover letter by email. Try to be as detailed as possible about what you are looking for in an internship or graduation project.

  2. Distribution within TenCate

Your application will be evaluated based on the background and content of your submission. Your application will then be passed on internally. It may take a little while before you get a response, but we aim to give you feedback within two weeks.

  3. Interview

If we feel that the information in your CV and covering letter suggests you'd be a good match for an internship with us, then we will invite you for an exploratory meeting. The invitation will include information about the date, time and location. The meeting will always be with your future supervisor.

You can find the required competencies in the vacancy information. The three core competencies at TenCate are: a focus on results, entrepreneurial spirit and initiative, and a capacity for innovation. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to get in touch with the specified contact.

As well as the completed and signed information form, we may ask you to bring original items from the following list:

  • One or more identification documents
  • Income tax declaration

On file

If TenCate decides not to consider you for the internship but would like to hold your CV on file, we will ask your consent. We may have a suitable internship in the future; if this happens, we will get in touch with you.

Rejection procedure

If TenCate decides not to consider you for the internship, we will notify you as quickly as possible and offer you constructive feedback.
